Pixel art I made for the game "Go Home", an entry to the GameMaker's Toolkit Game Jam 2023. "Go Home" was made under the Jam's theme of 'role reversal', and is set in a spooky haunted house. The player is the ghost trying to scare away AI hunters who are looking to banish you from the premises.
The game was made by myself and 4 other developers in 48 hours. I was in charge of the art, and basically entered a fugue state where I pumped out assets and downed coffee for hours at a time. It was a great experience, and a challenge for me personally as I hadn't delved much into pixel art before this. I'm very happy with the way it all ended up looking.
